I have always been good with my hands and I love building and creating things. I learned how to sew when I was very young and went to Theatre School where I learned to work with wood, paints and a host of other mediums. I have been working in the Film Industry as a Decorator and Props Builder for the past 30 years.
My first build for dogs was in the movie “Cats and Dogs” where I designed office chairs for a dog United Nations and the inside of a dog space ship!
Twelve years ago, I got my first Yorkie and I soon realised that there wasn’t much out there that would accommodate training small dogs (including leashes and collars those days) so I started building my own things scaled down for them. Since then, my dogs have gone into Canine Freestyle, Rally Obedience and Agility. I had gotten so comfortable adapting equipment for my small dogs that I started taking on projects for friends, adapting gear to fit into their vehicles, their houses, to be super lightweight or resilient to winds, etc.
I can build items to fit specific criteria that you need, or to conform to the regulations of your sport or organization. I can also take on repairs to existing equipment. I am based in Surrey, BC, and all of my projects are FOB Surrey.
